Meet Carol,
by Rob
Carol is the love of my life. She is warm, thoughtful, and has a natural way of making people feel cared for. She brings joy and laughter into everyday moments and reminds me to slow down and appreciate the little things. She has a gentle way of helping others feel seen and supported, and there is always time for a hug when you need one.
Carol is a helper at heart. As a psychologist in private practice, she supports people through many different life experiences. The same patience, compassion, and attentiveness she brings to her work are part of who she is as a person. She has created a flexible schedule that allows her to work from our home office, giving her the ability to be present and actively engaged in daily family life.
Carol is playful, loving and kind. Children are naturally drawn to her. She has always had a gift with them.
Carol comes from a large, close-knit family. As the youngest of six, she grew up surrounded by love, laughter, and strong connections. She is a proud “Auntie Carol” to 11 nieces and nephews and cherishes the time she spends being part of their lives.
Since childhood, Carol has felt most at peace in nature. Time spent outdoors—whether hiking wooded trails, kayaking on the water, or simply listening to birds in our backyard—helps her feel grounded and recharged. In the summer, she enjoys caring for our garden and using what we grow to prepare meals for family and friends. She also has a natural eye for photography and loves capturing the beauty of the places that mean so much to us. Some of our favorites are below:
Carol is excited to share the things she loves with a child, while also encouraging them to discover their own interests and strengths. She believes in creating a supportive environment where a child feels confident being themselves and comfortable exploring what brings them joy. I feel so lucky to share my life with Carol, and I know the same love, patience, and care she shows the people around her will shape the kind of mother she will be.
