“It takes a village to raise a child.”

This proverb is more than just words to us. We know it takes family, friends, neighbors, teachers and more to raise a child. We are blessed to have a large and supportive village.

Meet Our “Village”

Loving couple getting married in a lush outdoor vineyard setting surrounded by friends and family.

Family and friends are everything to us

We are blessed to both come from very large, supportive families. Carol is one of six and Rob is one of three. Between our siblings and our cousins (most of whom live locally), we have dozens of nieces and nephews. From hosting holidays to family milestones and outdoor adventures, we cherish our time around family and friends.

What our friends say about us

“Carol and Rob are everything you could hope for in human beings. They are compassionate, kind, patient, reflective, well-educated, generous, and unfailingly reliable. Our children adore Carol and Rob, and the feeling is mutual. Carol and Rob take care of them, celebrate their milestones, and genuinely “see” them. Any child who is welcomed into their lives will have truly received the greatest gift imaginable, which is a home overflowing with love, stability, fun, laughter, adventure, and unwavering devotion… and a mom and dad who will never take the gift of parenthood for granted.”

-Anne and Joe

“Carol and Rob both exhibit patience, nurturance and dependability. They have a unique and special way of making our children feel special, loved and valued. Carol and Rob consistently show up for our children in meaningful ways, and have become a source of stability in their lives. Carol and Rob have had to deal with many of life’s challenges, and they have done so together, with thoughtfulness and calm. They are deeply committed to providing a safe, loving and supportive home, where a child can thrive physically and emotionally. We so look forward to the day that they can welcome a child into their life.”
